From 01.07 to 04.07.2024 the German Rubber Conference (DKT) of the German Rubber Society e.V. (DKG) took place in Nuremberg. The KTP attended the trade fair this year with several employees and students. Jonas Petzke presented his results on "Experimental Studies on Continous Microwave Heating of Rubber Extrudates". Dennis Kleinschmidt reported on his progress regarding "Applicability of empirical rheological transfer functions on filled rubber compounds" while Leon Schmidt gave the audience a presentation on "Investigation of alternative screw concepts for rubber extrusion". In the meantime, the students had the opportunity to explore the adjacent exhibition on their own and find out about the latest developments, as well as attending the conference as listeners.
