On September 13, Florian Brüning and Jonas Petzke were guests at the second AZuR colloquium at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in Gummersbach. A total of 17 scientists from ten universities and research institutes gathered to intensively address the topic of scrap tire recycling. The event provided a platform for scientific exchange and discussion of innovative approaches to promoting scrap tire recycling technologies.
In addition, current research projects and projects of the participants were presented during the colloquium, which illustrated the broad spectrum of topics and challenges related to scrap tire recycling. In this context, Jonas Petzke was able to present his results on the topic of "Devulcanization of sulfur-crosslinking elastomers in a semiconductor-supported microwave process" to an expert audience during a lecture.
Furthermore, the membership of the KTP in the AZuR network was announced during the colloquium. The cooperation promises a close collaboration and exchange of expertise with AZuR partners in order to promote innovative solutions and progress in the field of scrap tire recycling. Thus, an important contribution to environmental protection and sustainability will be made.
