In the week after Whitsun, the KTP organised the traditional student excursion to visit plastics companies all over Germany. This year, 30 students accompanied by research assistants and Professor Moritzer set off for Munich for 4 days. The first stop was in Fürth, where the globally active manufacturer of workwear UVEX presented, among other things, its safety glasses production. In Munich, Brückner GmbH & Co. KG at the Siegsdorf site as an engineering service provider for the planning and commissioning of stretch film extrusion lines and KraussMaffei GmbH as a manufacturer of injection moulding machines. The programme was rounded off by the traditional joint evening in a typical Munich brewery and a sightseeing tour of the city.
