Creation of a Digital Learning Agreement

If you would like to spend a period abroad, we will be happy to support you in preparing the Digital Learning Agreement so that you can be sure that the credits you have earned abroad will be recognised BEFORE your stay.

You can find basic information on this on the website of the International Office.

In addition, we would like to inform you on this page about the procedure to be followed if you are studying at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and have to conclude a digital Learning Agreement for a stay abroad.

Please adhere strictly to the procedure described below:

  • During the entry process in Mobility Online in the field Sending Institution (Responsible Person), please always enter the following email address to ensure that the process is forwarded to the responsible persons in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering: ola@mb.upb.de
  • Please enter Sascha Schiller as the contact person (Responsible Person)
  • Important: Unfortunately, the lecturers cannot use Mobility Online to check the credits to be recognised from abroad because no documents can be uploaded and the lecturers will not work with this platform.
  • therefore the actual recognition process MUST take place beforehand AND outside of Mobility Online
  • To do this, you must contact the subject lecturers (who are to recognise a specific module from abroad) independently and have the recognition confirmed on this form/routing slip .
  • Please send the complete form (to which no further changes should be made!) by email to ola@mb.upb.de so that the faculty now has the confirmation of recognition from the lecturers for the subsequent verification process in Mobility Online .
  • now enter all relevant data in Mobility Online and submit your Learning Agreement so that it can be finalised and approved by the faculty
  • if the final routing slip is NOT available at this point, the Learning Agreement will not be processed
  • If, during the final review by the faculty, there are any deviations from the credits previously specified (outside Mobility Online!) on the form submitted by email, it is advisable to consult the faculty again via ola@mb.upb.de before submitting the Learning Agreement, as otherwise there is a risk that the Learning Agreement will be rejected during the final review, which would result in the entire process being repeated.
  • the faculty will only approve the digital Learning Agreement via Mobility Online if it is clear BEFORE the digital Learning Agreement is submitted which credits will be earned abroad and the recognition is clearly defined, so that the final approval by the faculty is only a comparison between the routing slip sent by email and the digital Learning Agreement submitted online
  • Therefore, always ensure that all recognised credits listed in Mobility Online have been discussed and confirmed in advance
